Delivery Access
When delivering large quantities of turf or bulk bags of topsoil, we will be operating our 18 ton fully equipped crane lorry. Its Is a 4-wheeled lorry with a HIAB crane on the front.
Before completing your order please check that:
- The propery has suitable access for a large Heavy goods vehicle
- Are there any overhead obstructions, such as cables, trees
- check that the driver wouldn’t be required to drive over any slippery or loose surfaces, drains or weak driveways such as brick paving
- Are there any time restrictions such as school run
Crane unloading:
- The delivery would be carried out by a truck with a Hiab crane.
- We will do our best to offload as close as we can to where you need it. However, the cranes have limited reach and we don’t guarantee that we can always get it where you want it.
- It is worth considering a back-up plan in case we’re unable to get it where you want it.
- You should consider that the truck will need space to extend its jacklegs

If the vehicle can’t make delivery due to tight access, the materials may have to be dropped at the closest suitable place or you may still be charged for the cost of delivery.
